Sound and Strong

Horses begin life supple and full of energy, but something happens when we start to ride and train them. The natural asymmetries of the horse, combined with well meaning but insufficient training techniques, lead horses to injury and poor performance. Routine bodywork can help strengthen and protect your horse for years of quality riding. Equine hoof care has moved into the modern era. New barefoot trimming techniques can rehabilitate the horses' hooves and lead to long term soundness. I offer a whole-horse approach with hoof care, conditioning exercises, stretching, massage, work in hand and education of the rider. Across all disciplines the same qualities of lightness, straightness and strength are the goal.
